Executive Summary
“I build for human emotions, driven by data but guided by humanity.”
A humanistic tech maker who creates value by dissolving the boundaries between unrelated fields, and the founder of CHRISM Lab.
Continuous volunteer work since the age of seven nurtured a deep sensitivity to people. As a front-line clinical nurse (Care) I met human emotion and the meaning of life directly; as a visual director and model (Creative) I built the steady confidence to express myself fully in front of others; and as an indie hacker (Code) I turn seemingly reckless ideas into real-world solutions.
Never content to merely think — a founder who creates something from nothing.
My sharpest weapon is high-velocity execution. I move from plan to action without hesitation. I refuse to settle inside the "non-engineer" frame, constantly weighing and adapting the latest AI tools and tech infrastructure, learning through rapid trial and error. I confront failure head-on rather than avoiding it. And beyond chasing capital, I hold to a sustainable, planet- and people-first business philosophy.
Core Competencies
Limitless self-belief & learning
Frame-breaking boldness
The "non-engineer" frame is no obstacle to me. When I lack the hard skills or experience a venture needs, I have the rock-solid conviction to teach myself — through the night if that is what it takes.
Resilience under high pressure
The resilience forged as a registered nurse, in a high-pressure environment where life and death hang in the balance, is my strongest weapon — steady in the face of any business variable or market crisis.
Courageous humility
Regardless of immediate results, if I built a service with conviction I will pitch it, unembarrassed, to masters and experts in the field. I carry the boldness to lower myself and the courage to seek advice generously.
Bold action and self-investment
A bold instinct toward Silicon Valley
Just two weeks into building my first service, I booked a ticket to Silicon Valley two days before departure to see the wider world and the future of technology first-hand. I joined global AI forums and networking conferences proactively, experiencing the frontier of tech in person — bold enough to take the wheel across unfamiliar American roads with nothing but an international driver's licence, eyes on a single goal.
Unsparing investment in future value
Back when I knew nothing about development, driven by the single resolve to build what I imagined with my own hands, I spent 3–4 million KRW a month and invested entirely in myself for three months without a single day off. Setting down my nursing career to immerse fully became the foundation of a resolve to invest boldly — unbound by capital — in any service or value I believe in.
Ownership as a colleague
Natural-born leadership
I find meaning in the value I contribute to the world and in self-efficacy, more than in money, personal comfort, or work-life balance. Whatever position I hold, I act with ownership and give my all to solving the organisation's problems.
Proof of ownership
At the Korean Nursing Student Association, representing 200,000 nursing students nationwide, I started as a regular member yet was recognised for overwhelming responsibility — promoted to deputy director, then to division director within four months. At term's end I was the sole recipient of a commendation among all directors, formally recognised for a year of singular dedication and results.
Humanism in the details
I lead technology and teams human-first. Leaving no one behind or sidelined, I read each member's potential and capability precisely, backing them firmly from behind the scenes — a detailed, supportive leadership that raises the whole team's capacity.
Intuition and soft skills
Proof of design insight
I deliberate intensely when designing front-end UI/UX, with an embodied sense for seeing the product from the user's side. When I launched my first project, CARDI, it drew overwhelming praise for design and UI. In particular, a UI structure I designed and inserted originally later appeared in a major enterprise design update — confirming my design insight runs ahead of the trend.
Roots of insight & communication
Long-running volunteer work since childhood grew a humane insight into others' needs, and a range of team experiences refined a polished, kind communication style.
A long trajectory of visual direction
Since middle school I have refused to be confined by ready-made templates, holding to custom design built around the essence I want to express. From PR-team and editorial member to PR lead and PR division director through middle school, high school, and university, I led every core department responsible for brand-building and visual communication — building hands-on instinct to perfection.
Manifesto
“A coalition of people who propose solutions rather than tolerate friction.”
The Spectrum
— three disciplines refracted from one vision.
Featured work from each track — clinical research, product engineering, and editorial creative — held together by one consistent point of view.
Vision & Impact
CHRISM follows a vision that expands beyond a portfolio into a health-tech business. Along the way, we measure the footprint we leave on the environment just as carefully as patient outcomes.
5+
Years bedside
Time spent beside patients sets the standard for every product decision — people first, then data.
4+
Open-source shipped
Cardi, D_raft, and a small blog — work delivered into real users’ hands. Code as artefact and public good.
100%
Carbon-aware deploys
Sites and services running on the edge are built and deployed in carbon-aware regions only.
